Course Description
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere.
This course has been designed to respond to the interest in the role that co-operatives play in helping to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since the SDGs being introduced in 2015, co-operatives around the world have been collecting evidence that demonstrates how as values-driven businesses they can significantly contribute to the reaching them.
The Co-operative College has always been committed to managing and developing new co‑operative education and training projects right across the world. We know that as ethical businesses, co‑operatives empower people to take control of their own lives, building a fairer world for themselves and their communities.
This taster course contains edited excerpts from the full Sustainable Development Goals' course, and is designed to demonstrate some of the functionality and content.
